Senior Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with strong technical and engineering capabilities to support and manage structural engineering works for construction projects. The role will focus mainly on engineering review, preparation of reinforcement shop drawings, structural calculations, technical coordination, and ensuring proper execution of structural activities on-site. The candidate will also coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to resolve technical and construction-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

Review structural IFC drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.

Prepare and review reinforcement shop drawings and bar bending details for site execution.

Prepare structural calculations and engineering checks required for temporary and permanent works support on-site.

Coordinate structural engineering works with site execution teams.

Prepare and review RFIs, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.

Ensure structural works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and authority requirements.

Coordinate with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and subcontractors for technical matters.

Support site teams in resolving structural and construction-related issues.

Review reinforcement details, concrete works, and structural elements before execution.

Monitor progress of structural activities and provide engineering support to project management.

Assist in planning and sequencing of structural works.

Attend technical and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure proper documentation and record management for engineering activities.

Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and QA/QC teams.

Support value engineering and optimization of structural solutions where applicable.

Should be very good in softwares such ETAB, SAFE and RAM, AUTOCAD
