Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer – First Category (Unlimited) Required | Sharjah

A leading Engineering Consultancy Firm in Sharjah is seeking to hire a qualified First Category Structural Engineer (Unlimited Classification) to join its team on a full-time basis.

Requirements:

Holding a valid First Category (Unlimited) Structural Engineer Classification approved in Sharjah.

Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering consultancy firms within the UAE.

Strong knowledge of Sharjah Municipality regulations, engineering standards, and approval procedures.

Proven experience in structural design, review, and approval of engineering drawings and calculations.

Ability to manage projects and coordinate with government authorities, consultants, contractors, and clients.

Proficiency in relevant engineering software and design tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to building and acoustic structures.

Proficiency in Structural Analysis and engineering Calculations to assess loads, stresses, and structural performance.

Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for preparing and reviewing structural drawings and models.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.

Familiarity with relevant international and regional building codes, standards, and best practices.

Ability to interpret architectural, mechanical, and acoustic design requirements and integrate them into structural solutions.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English; experience in the Middle East construction sector is an advantage.
