JOB PURPOSE:
The Senior Supervisor – Facility Management is responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily operations of terminal buildings and related facilities. The role ensures that facilities are safe, well-maintained, and fully operational while overseeing housekeeping, space allocation, vendor coordination, and regulatory compliance. The Senior Supervisor supports the Facilities Manager by monitoring activities, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Building Administration & Operations

Oversee administrative and logistical needs of the workforce.

Supervise allocation and optimization of office and workspace requirements.

Manage distribution and usage of office supplies, stationery, and equipment.

Ensure housekeeping, cleaning, and waste management services meet high-quality standards.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.

Track, report, and analyze KPIs related to facility management performance and operational efficiency.
Vendor & Supplier Management

Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for facility-related services and requirements.

Process and follow up on purchase orders and invoices in line with procurement policies.

Ensure vendors comply with agreed service levels and health and safety regulations.

Assist in license renewals and compliance with local building regulations.
Customer Satisfaction

Respond to facility-related requests and complaints in a timely manner.

Ensure services are delivered to the satisfaction of internal customers and stakeholders.

Escalate recurring or critical issues to the Facilities Manager.
Supervision & Team Coordination

Provide guidance and daily supervision of facility staff (maintenance, housekeeping, support teams).

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure service standards are met.

Support the training and development of facility staff.

Ensure maintenance activities are carried out in line with HSE standards and international marine safety requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

3–5 years of experience in Facility Management or any related functions, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.

Background in engineering or technical facility operations preferred.

Drawing Management is preferable.

Lean background is preferable.
-
Background in Facility related software (AutoCAD, MS Office, or others).

Supervisory and people management skills.
-
Attention to detail.
-
English literacy (verbal and written).
-
Preferred: PMP/CMMP/CFM certification
-
Background in service ticket and Work Order Management (WO).
