Senior Sustainability Manager

The project:

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Supporting development of sustainability and climate strategies across projects.
• Advising on energy, carbon, water, waste, and sustainable materials.
• Guiding design teams on environmental constraints and NZC strategies.
• Reviewing sustainability documents and ensure compliance with standards (LEED, MOSTADAM, ISO 14001).
• Analysing embodied carbon, energy, water and waste data.
• Supporting bid processes and client engagement.
• Promoting innovation and share best practices across teams.
• Conducting gap analyses and recommend sustainable technologies.
• Mentoring junior staff and contribute to knowledge transfer.
• Actively contributing to net-zero carbon goals by identifying, managing and reducing emissions throughout project delivery.

You’ll need to have:

• Relevant MEA experience.
• Degree qualification.
• Chartered or relevant certifications such as IEMA, CIEMA, ICE, RICS.
• LEED AP or equivalent certification with experience in building sustainability standards.
• Proven understanding of sustainability frameworks and compliance standards.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
