Senior System Administrator

job Summary:

Cornerstone Development is seeking a Senior System Administrator to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring system stability, security, and high performance across all business operations. The role involves administering servers, networks, Microsoft 365 services, virtualization environments, backup systems, and cyber-security measures while providing technical support and troubleshooting for internal users. The Senior System Administrator is expected to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, support IT projects, and contribute to improving overall IT operations and security standards. career@cornerstonedv.com

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in System Administration or IT Infrastructure support.

Experience in Microsoft 365 administration.

Experience with virtualization technologies and backup solutions.

Experience with Sophos / FortiGate Firewalls, Veeam Backup, VMware, Linux systems, or VoIP systems is preferred.

Knowledge of cloud services such as Microsoft Azure is an advantage.

Relevant certifications are a plus:

MCSA / MCSE

CCNA

CompTIA Security+

VMware VCP

Requirements :

Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration.

Strong understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy.

Solid knowledge of networking and troubleshooting.

Good understanding of firewalls and network security.

Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and best practices.

Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Good communication and time management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
