Cluster Security Services is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior System & Security Engineer (ELV) to join our team
The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and high-level support of an integrated IT and security infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring all physical security systems (CCTV/Storage) meet the mandatory Ministry of Interior - Security Systems Department (MOI-SSD) regulations while maintaining a robust enterprise network and cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Security Systems & MOI Compliance
- Design & Design Approvals: Create compliant CCTV system designs (AutoCAD) and manage the MOI-SSD portal for DSA (Design Submission) and DIA (Final Inspection) approvals.
- VMS & Camera Expert: Perform expert-level configuration of Milestone, Digifort, Avigilon, and HikCentral VMS platforms and high-resolution Hikvision/Avigilon cameras.
- Compliant Storage: Architect and configure Dell and Hikvision IP SAN storage to meet the strict 120-day retention mandate and RAID 5/6 requirements.
2. IT & Network Infrastructure
- Enterprise Networking: Configure Cisco Switches, implementing advanced VLAN segmentation and QoS to prioritize security traffic without impacting the corporate network.
- Server Administration: Manage Windows Server environments (2019/2022), including Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
- Cloud & Web Hosting: Oversee Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace administration. Manage web hosting environments via cPanel, including domain registrations and SSL management.
3. Project Leadership & Escalation
- Tier-3 Escalation: Act as the final point of escalation for complex network outages, system bottlenecks, or integration failures.
- Project Lifecycle: Handle end-to-end projects from site surveys and technical submittals to final commissioning and client training.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communication, or Computer Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Systems/ELV Engineering, specifically in Qatar.
- UPDA Certification (Strongly Preferred): Possession of a valid UPDA/MMUP License (Grade B or A preferred) is a significant advantage for signing off on MOI drawings.
- Driving License: A valid Qatar Driving License is required for site visits and government inspections.
