Senior Technology Lead / Solutions Architect (Regulatory-Focused)

Core Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in backend engineering, systems architecture, or infrastructure design
• Strong background in financial services technology, including fintech, banking, or payments platforms
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as KYC, AML, and licensing obligations
• Excellent technical writing and documentation skills, including preparing materials for regulators
• Working knowledge of blockchain and smart contract architecture (hands-on or strong conceptual understanding)
• Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or above), with the ability to engage with regulators and external stakeholders

Preferred Experience

• Involvement in regulatory submissions to authorities such as Dubai Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), or compliance with Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA)
• Experience working within a licensed crypto exchange, digital asset platform, or tokenization business
• DevOps and cloud infrastructure expertise, including Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Kubernetes
• Exposure to legal-tech or compliance automation solutions

Key Responsibilities

• Convert regulatory and licensing requirements into scalable technical architectures
• Prepare and author technical sections of VARA and other licensing applications
• Design compliance-driven systems incorporating audit trails, transaction monitoring, reporting, and KYT integrations
• Review and approve blockchain and smart contract architecture
• Define and oversee infrastructure architecture for a multi-product digital asset ecosystem

Pay: AED30,000.00 - AED60,000.00 per hour
