Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Doha, Qatar for a Senior Technical and Operations Manager, reporting to the H ead of Event Delivery, and Events Director . This is initially a fixed term role, f rom Q1 2026 to 9th April 2027.
The Senior Technical Operations Manager in the Hospitality Division is a critical role responsible for strategic planning and execution of world-class operations across major events within the company’s portfolio. Primarily reporting to the Head of Event Delivery, this role manages the full project lifecycle, from initial planning and contract management to the mobilisation, operational delivery, and demobilisation of both service providers and technical service providers and event sites, taking a lead role in the planning and execution of temporary and external hospitality activations.
As a secondary report to the Head of Events Operations, this role will support in other functional areas such as Catering, Guest Experience, or general operations (space allocation, venue deployment, training, reporting, cleaning) or a combination of the above depending on the project/ event underway. Each area involves supplier contract management, detailed operational planning, and seamless delivery. During the mobilisation and operational phases, this role will lead elements of installation and setup, including hospitality spaces, villages, activations, furniture, fixtures, décor, and signage. Alternatively, it can take over a site management role for hospitality operations at a venue or cluster level. This includes overseeing all functional areas with our Hospitality operations, ensuring smooth execution and exceptional guest experience.
