We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Catering Coordinator with a background in café operations to manage and oversee catering orders, coordinate events, and ensure excellent service. The ideal candidate will have experience handling food service logistics, working in a fast-paced environment, and delivering high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:Catering Operations & Order Management

  • Manage and coordinate catering orders, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation.
  • Work closely with café staff to fulfill catering requests while maintaining regular café operations.
  • Schedule deliveries and work with vendors to ensure smooth execution.

Customer Relations & Sales

  • Communicate with clients to understand their catering needs and provide recommendations.
  • Prepare and send proposals, invoices, and confirmations for catering orders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and local businesses.

Event Coordination & Execution

  • Oversee on-site and off-site catering setups, ensuring proper presentation and service quality.
  • Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are followed.
  • Troubleshoot any catering-related issues and provide excellent customer service.

Administrative & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain an organized catering calendar and track upcoming events.
  • Work with the kitchen and service teams to optimize workflow and staffing.
  • Monitor inventory levels for catering supplies and coordinate restocking.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or catering environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and catering best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle last-minute changes.
  • Basic proficiency in scheduling and order management software is a plus.
