Senior Title Examiner

Job Summary

Community Title, one of the largest title insurance agents in the area with 11 offices in Illinois and 20 in Missouri under the True Title umbrella, is looking for a Senior Title Examiner to work in the Edwardsville, IL branch. The position of title examiner involves analyzing the history of a parcel of real estate for the purpose of insuring title for lenders and property owners. This process includes examining real estate records produced from a title search to determine the legal ownership and status of the property. A title examiner needs to be able to work extensively with computers and various search related software programs, performing somewhat routine, protocol-based work while sitting at a desk. It involves some contact with customers, but it is primarily a position that requires attention to detail, research and analytical abilities, basic familiarity with property law and knowledge of terminology and other technical aspects relating to property titles.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
