We are seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Kisaan-Vet to lead veterinary service delivery within the assigned territory. The role involves supervising clinic operations, providing comprehensive veterinary care, mentoring junior staff, and conducting technical training for the farming community. The Senior K-Vet will play a key role in improving livestock health, enhancing productivity, and supporting sustainable livestock practices aligned with organizational objectives.


The Senior K-Vet will work under the supervision of the Territory Manager and will be responsible for:

  • Conducting technical sessions for community members on sustainable livestock practices, including nutrition, breeding, and preventive care.
  • Overseeing veterinary clinic operations to ensure alignment with service delivery goals and timelines, with assistance of the Junior K-Vet.
  • Providing clinical and breeding services to livestock, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, vaccination, and follow-up as required.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed animal health records and monitoring overall animal welfare within the assigned area.
  • Implementing and supervising disease prevention and control measures, increase in milk & meat production, biosecurity protocols, outbreak responses, and surveillance activities.
  • Conducting membership drives, farmers & animal verification, and documentation for all new farmer members in the assigned territory, ensuring accuracy and eligibility.
  • Ensuring regular data updation from the field and clinics for timely reporting, performance tracking, and decision-making.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the work quality of the Junior K-Vet, and providing guidance, and strategies to uphold service consistency and quality in the milk and meat supply chain.
  • Assisting and mentoring junior staff on complex clinical cases and ensuring proper follow-up visits to monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Ensuring timely planning and execution of livestock vaccination and deworming schedules across the assigned territory.
  • Assisting the Territory Manager in compiling and submitting regular reports to the management of veterinary field activities, outcomes, and key challenges.
  • Performing any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Territory Manager or higher management.


Qualification: DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) degree from PVMC recognized institution with a valid RVMP certificate.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in veterinary practice, preferably in rural livestock management and community-based programs.

Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, proficiency in Urdu and English, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
