Role Overview
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Video Editor to join our growing marketing team. This isn’t just about cutting clips; it’s about making people hungry. Our agency specializes in the restaurant and hospitality sector, and we need an editor who understands how to translate the atmosphere of a dining room and the artistry of a kitchen into thumb-stopping digital content. You will be responsible for leading the post-production process, from high-end brand films to fast-paced social media reels, ensuring every frame maximizes "appetite appeal."

Key Responsibilities  Post-Production Leadership: Lead the end-to-end editing process for diverse restaurant clients, ranging from fine dining to fast-casual franchises.  High-Impact Storytelling:

Craft compelling narratives for brand documentaries, chef profiles, and promotional campaigns.

 Social-First Content: Design and edit high-energy Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that leverage current trends, transitions, and audio cues.

 Colour Grading: Execute professional-grade colour correction and grading to ensure food looks vibrant, fresh, and true-to-life.

 Sound Design & Scoring: Utilize ASMR, sound effects (sizzles, pours, kitchen ambiance), and music to create an immersive sensory experience.

 Motion Graphics: Develop slick overlays, typography, and logo animations to enhance brand identity within videos.

 Quality Control: Review the work of junior editors and ensure all deliverables meet agency standards and client brand guidelines.  Collaboration: Work closely with Creative team to provide input on shot lists and storyboards during the pre-production phase.

The Ideal Candidate
 The Foodie Eye:

You have a deep understanding of food cinematography. You know exactly when to slow down a pour or speed up a sear to elicit a visceral reaction from the viewer.

 Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve for colour grading is a major plus.

 Pacing Expert: You understand the "rhythm" of food content – knowing when to let a shot breathe and when to use rapid-fire cuts for energy.

 Strategic Thinker: You don't just edit for aesthetics; you edit for conversions, clicks, and engagement.

 Portfolio: A strong reel showcasing high-end lifestyle, food, or hospitality content is mandatory.

Requirements

 5+ years of professional video editing experience (preferably in an agency or high-volume production house).

 Deep knowledge of social media platforms, aspect ratios, and export specs.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight restaurant-opening or seasonal campaign deadlines.

 Excellent communication skills for articulating creative decisions to clients and internal stakeholders.

 A personal passion for the culinary world or experience working in the "back of house."
