Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced, polished, and professional Senior Waiter/Waitress to lead by example in our luxury cafe. This role requires exceptional service skills, extensive product knowledge, and the ability to handle complex guest interactions with grace and efficiency, ensuring every guest receives an impeccable dining experience that meets luxury standards.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all service procedures with precision and elegance, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables, adhering to refined dining standards.
• Possess a deep, encyclopedic knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, preparation methods, potential allergens, and recommended pairings.
• Ensure all orders are accurately communicated to the kitchen/bar and closely monitor timing to deliver courses promptly and at the correct temperature.
• Skillfully guide guests through the menu, making informed and strategic recommendations (e.g., premium coffees, signature desserts) to enhance the guest experience and increase check average.
• Manage and execute complex dietary requests, allergy concerns, and custom orders with meticulous attention to detail and clear communication with the kitchen.
• Build positive, professional rapport with regular guests, anticipating their needs and providing personalized service.
• Confidently and discreetly handle minor guest complaints or issues immediately, escalating to management only when necessary.
• Act as a role model and mentor for junior service staff, providing guidance on service standards, etiquette, and efficiency.
• Ensure all tables, chairs, and dining areas are meticulously set, spotless, and maintained throughout service, performing thorough opening and closing duties.
• Handle guest checks and payment procedures accurately, including splitting checks, processing credit cards, and managing cash transactions.
• Strictly adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and local health standards and protocols throughout the service area.
• Demonstrate proficiency in table-side service, including pouring wine (if applicable) and expertly delivering specialized coffee and tea services.
• Master the Point of Sale (POS) system for efficient order entry, modification, and accurate billing procedures.
• Maintain clear, professional, and constant communication with the Hostess, Barista, and Kitchen teams to manage reservations and pacing effectively.
• Consistently embody the luxury cafe's brand standards through polished personal grooming, refined demeanor, and proactive service attitude.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a fine dining restaurant or high-end hotel café.
• Proven track record of delivering five-star, meticulous, and attentive service in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of high-quality food and beverage service, including basic wine/beverage pairings and specialty coffee service standards.
• Impeccable personal presentation, reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work effectively under pressure during peak periods.

Pay: ﷼2,300.00 - ﷼2,500.00 per month
