Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and organized Senior Warehouse Officer to oversee warehouse operations, manage inventory, and ensure efficient material handling for our project. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent knowledge of warehouse processes, and the ability to maintain smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Maintain updated inventory records and monitor stock levels.
- Implement and enforce proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and housekeeping standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and project teams for timely material availability.
- Prepare stock reports, inventory summaries, and reconciliation statements.
- Lead periodic physical stock counts and audits.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, and documentation of all materials.
- Handle the operation of warehouse equipment and ensure maintenance of tools and storage systems.
- Train and guide warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in construction or industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in construction, EPC, or O&M project warehouses.
- Knowledge of HSE requirements and safe material handling practices.
- Forklift or material-handling equipment certification (optional but preferred).
