Position Summary:

The Senior Web Developer will build, optimize, and enhance Milan’s digital presence. Leverage development and marketing expertise to create high performing web experiences to drive conversion and revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate and be a thought partner with product owner, user experience designer, marketing executive and other marketing partners to accomplish through testing the business needs and website testing goals. Conduct website analysis and suggest areas for testing. Provide expertise to guide implementation of A/B testing, Google Tag Manager, pixel tracking, data capture and attribution
  • Development Solution Design and Implementation: Design, implement and analyze A/B, multivariate, personalization, multipage tests for landing pages, user flows and conversion optimization. Collaborate with the design team to translate mockups into web experiences. Design and implement Google Tag Manager to set up, debug, and maintain pixel tracking as well as tags for paid social channels. Work with the web development team to trigger GTM in the appropriate way for optimal lead tracking and analytics. Demonstrate understanding of Javascript, React, and Node.js principles to efficiently partner with the web development team.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Assist in user feedback sessions and gather feedback for continuous improvement. Identify and resolve issues or bugs promptly.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with digital marketing updates, best practices, and industry trends. Identify opportunities to optimize and enhance websites, lead conversion and user flows.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) required. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience combined (one year of experience equals one year of education) required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of development experience with deep understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, A/B testing, Google Tag Manager required
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms required
  • Optimizely experience required
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Tag Manager set up and management required
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools, conversion tracking and web analytics required
  • Experience with marketing tools and platforms required; experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Knowledge of SEO principles, implementation and cookie management required
  • Knowledge and adherence to best practices in security and compliance required
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, A/B Testing platforms, Google Tag Manager and analytics tools required
  • Background in growth marketing and testing frameworks required
  • Experience using React preferred
  • Strong time management and organizational skills required
