Senior WordPress Developer (Full Stack)

We are seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer (Full Stack) to join our dynamic and innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining advanced WordPress solutions, including custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce extensions, and API integrations. You will work across the full stack—from crafting responsive frontends to building secure, scalable backends—while collaborating closely with design, marketing, and business teams to deliver high-performance, enterprise-level web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced WordPress solutions, including custom themes, plugins, and API integrations.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance WordPress websites for enterprise-level clients.
• Build and extend WooCommerce functionality (custom gateways, product types, shipping methods, reporting dashboards).
• Customize and optimize the WordPress block editor (Gutenberg) with custom blocks, patterns, and editor enhancements.
• Develop responsive, mobile-first, and cross-browser compatible frontends from UI/UX designs (Figma, XD, Sketch).
• Implement caching strategies, database optimization, and performance tuning to meet Core Web Vitals.
• Build and integrate REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party services (ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms).
• Lead and mentor development team members, ensuring code quality, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Implement AI chatbots and automation workflows (Zapier, GoHighLevel, etc.) for enhanced website functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, business) to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Manage deployments with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean).
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in advanced WordPress development.
• Strong expertise in custom plugin and theme development, WordPress core, and third-party integrations.
• Proficiency with WooCommerce customization and scaling high-traffic eCommerce sites.
• Hands-on experience with Gutenberg, Elementor, and Divi.
• Strong frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and React.js.
• Advanced backend development with PHP 7/8, OOP, Composer, REST API, GraphQL, and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Familiarity with caching layers (Redis, Memcached) and scalable backend architecture.
• Knowledge of AI chatbot integrations, workflow automation (Zapier, GHL, Make, n8n, Pabbly).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud hosting environments (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean).
• Strong understanding of security best practices, testing frameworks, and code quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior developers.

Nice to Have:

• Headless WordPress development (Next.js, React.js).
• SEO best practices and schema markup.
• Contribution to WordPress open-source projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
