Job Summary
We are looking for a warm, creative, and experienced Sensory Activities Teacher with a nursery or early years background to support children through engaging, age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within British, French, or Arabic early years frameworks and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
This role focuses on hands-on sensory learning, emotional development, and early cognitive skills in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver sensory-based activities (tactile, visual, auditory, movement-based) suitable for different age groups
- Support children’s cognitive, motor, social, and emotional development
- Implement age-appropriate learning approaches aligned with British EYFS, French, or Arabic curriculum frameworks
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Work closely with parents and team members to support each child’s individual needs
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards at all times
- Encourage positive behavior, independence, and confidence in children
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Nursery / Early Years teaching background is mandatory
- Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, Nursery Teaching, or equivalent
- Experience teaching children aged 6 months to 6 years (or similar early years range)
- Familiarity with British, French, or Arabic early years education systems
- Knowledge of sensory play, child-led learning, and developmental activities
