Job Purpose:
Facilitate the holistic development of each child, encompassing cognitive, social, emotional, and physical domains by creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that creates curiosity, independence, and a love for learning, laying the foundation for lifelong educational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management and Delivery
· Craft and maintain a prepared learning environment, incorporating theme-based lesson plans that stimulate curiosity and engagement among children.
· Facilitate hands-on learning experiences and introduce Montessori-inspired activities to bring about genuine love for exploration and knowledge acquisition.
· Encourage independence in children by integrating age-appropriate tasks and activities that contribute to the development of essential life skills.
· Tailor teaching methods to provide individualized education, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience.
· Effectively manage the implementation of different learning and shelf activities to maximize resource utilization.
Supervise teaching assistants, offering guidance and support in various classroom activities.
Assessment and Reporting
· Observe and assess individual child development, employing keen insights to adapt teaching strategies and meet the diverse needs of each student.
· Prepare monthly observation reports, facilitating regular and meaningful parent-teacher meetings for insightful discussions and collaboration.
Complete yearly assessment reports for each child twice a year, providing a holistic view of their progress and areas for continued growth.
Social and Emotional Development
· Promote the development of social skills and collaborative abilities among children, establishing a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
· Provide emotional support and encouragement, cultivating not only a love for learning but also a sense of curiosity that inspires exploration.
· Assume a leadership role in classroom management, ensuring a safe, clean, and enabling environment that facilitates optimal learning experiences.
Integrate cultural and environmental learning into the curriculum, encouraging appreciation for diversity and sustainability.
Health, Safety, & Administration
· Demonstrate unwavering commitment to health and safety protocols.
· Ensure strict adherence within the classroom environment to guarantee the well-being of all students.
· Maintain records of child development, assessments, and observations, contributing to the creation of portfolios that displays each child's progress.
· Communicate and report any accidents, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability within the educational setting.
Professional Development and Collaboration
· Actively participate in development opportunities, staying abreast of the latest educational methodologies and incorporating them into the classroom.
· Collaborate with parents, demonstrating a commitment to understanding and addressing unique child needs, and promptly integrating feedback into the teaching approach.
· Employ continuous research and innovation to create a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience that sparks curiosity and enthusiasm among students.
Be ready to lend a hand with additional tasks when colleagues in OS are unavailable, ensuring a seamless workflow and strong team support.
Educational qualifications (Minimum educational background required to execute the role):
· Bachelor’s degree in Early childhood education, Montessori education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
· Relevant certifications in Montessori education, valid teaching certification.
CDA certification in early childhood education.
Demonstrated success in creating and implementation of engaging curriculum plans
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
