SEO and AI Search Expert

WSL Consultants Pvt Ltd is looking for a data-driven and future-focused SEO Expert to spearhead our search strategy. This is an on-site position at our Lahore office, designed for a specialist who has moved beyond traditional backlinking and keyword stuffing to master the new era of AI-integrated search.

The ideal candidate will manage our end-to-end SEO roadmap, ensuring our digital footprint is prominent in both traditional Google SERPs and emerging AI-powered discovery engines.

Key Responsibilities

Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Develop and execute strategies to ensure our brand appears in AI-generated summaries, such as Google’s AI Overviews (SGE), Gemini, and Perplexity.

• Chatbot SEO Strategy: Optimize brand mentions and authoritative signals to improve visibility within conversational AI models and LLM training footprints.
• Technical SEO & Core Web Vitals: Conduct regular site audits to optimize crawlability, site architecture, and mobile performance, ensuring the site meets evolving technical standards.
• AI-Driven Research: Utilize advanced AI tools for deep keyword intent analysis, topical mapping, and competitive intelligence.
• E-E-A-T Management: Strengthen the site’s Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness signals to align with Google’s quality rater guidelines.
• Algorithm Adaptation: Monitor and react instantly to search engine algorithm updates and the changing landscape of "Answer Engine" optimization.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track organic growth, ranking volatility, and AI-driven traffic using Search Console, GA4, and emerging AI-visibility trackers.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as an SEO Specialist or SEO Expert.

• AI Search Mastery: Demonstrated knowledge of how AI models retrieve information and how to optimize for conversational search queries.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog).
• Familiarity with Schema Markup and structured data to help AI understand content context.
• Understanding of how AI-generated content impacts search rankings and how to manage "AI-Search" hybrid strategies.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate complex data into actionable growth strategies.
• Communication: Strong English communication skills to collaborate with content and development teams.
• Strict Office Requirement: This is a 100% office-based role in Lahore. Applicants seeking remote or hybrid work will not be considered.
