Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven SEO and SEM Specialist to join our growing marketing team. In this dual-focus role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive strategies for both organic search (SEO) and paid search (SEM). Your mission will be to increase our online visibility, drive high-quality traffic, and maximize return on investment (ROI) through a balanced and effective search engine marketing approach. The ideal candidate is analytical, results-oriented, and passionate about the ever-evolving landscape of search.
Key Responsibilities
SEO (Organic Search)
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, gap analysis, and competitive analysis to identify organic growth opportunities.
- Perform on-page SEO, including optimizing website content, meta tags, landing pages, and blog posts for target keywords.
- Execute off-page SEO strategies, including link-building and digital PR outreach.
- Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors, and site architecture.
- Develop and execute local SEO strategies as needed (e.g., Google Business Profile optimization).
- Monitor and analyze organic performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
SEM (Paid Search)
- Develop, manage, and optimize Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads).
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to build high-performing paid search campaigns.
- Manage daily and monthly budgets, perform bid management, and allocate spend for maximum ROI and ROAS (Return on Ad Spend).
- Write compelling ad copy and collaborate with the team to create high-converting landing pages.
- Implement and analyze A/B tests for ads, landing pages, and bidding strategies to continuously improve performance.
Cross-Functional & Reporting
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for both SEO and SEM efforts.
- Prepare regular performance reports and present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and designers to implement SEO and SEM best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of proven, hands-on experience in both SEO and SEM/PPC.
- Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz) and web analytics platforms (Google Analytics).
- Hands-on experience with PPC platforms (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) and a strong understanding of bid management and quality score.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile-friendliness, XML sitemaps) and website technologies (HTML, CSS, CMS like WordPress).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Ads Certification and/or Google Analytics Certification.
- Experience with additional digital marketing channels (e.g., Social Media Advertising, Display).
- Experience with Yandex and Baidu is preferred
- Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
- Advanced Excel skills for data analysis (pivot tables, charts, functions).
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
