Al Rafay Consulting (ARC) is a technology consulting firm that operates and manages multiple brand websites across diverse industries. We are looking for a results-driven SEO Backlink Specialist to strengthen domain authority, improve organic search rankings, and drive sustainable traffic growth across our entire portfolio of web properties.

Role Overview

As the SEO Backlink Specialist, you will own and execute the link-building strategy across all ARC brand websites. This is a hands-on role that spans outreach, content-driven SEO, technical audits, and cross-brand authority building. You will work closely with the content, development, and marketing teams to ensure every backlink acquired aligns with our quality standards and long-term organic growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

Link Building & Outreach

  • Develop and execute a scalable link-building strategy across all ARC brand websites
  • Identify, qualify, and conduct outreach to high-authority websites, bloggers, and industry publications for guest posts, editorial links, and partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with webmasters, editors, and influencers for ongoing link acquisition opportunities
  • Monitor competitor backlink profiles to identify new link opportunities and close gaps
  • Manage outreach campaigns using tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, BuzzStream, or Pitchbox

Content-Driven SEO

  • Collaborate with the content team to create linkable assets including guides, infographics, data studies, and thought leadership pieces
  • Identify content gaps and recommend topics that attract natural backlinks and organic shares
  • Optimize existing content for link-earning potential and internal linking structure
  • Support digital PR initiatives by crafting pitches and story angles that earn editorial coverage

Technical SEO Audits

  • Conduct regular backlink audits across all brand properties to identify toxic, spammy, or low-quality links
  • Execute disavow processes and link cleanup as needed to protect domain health
  • Perform technical SEO reviews to ensure site architecture, crawlability, and indexing support link equity distribution
  • Monitor and resolve issues such as broken backlinks, redirect chains, and orphaned pages

Brand Authority Across Multiple Sites

  • Develop and maintain a unified backlink strategy that serves each brand’s unique positioning while leveraging cross-brand synergies where appropriate
  • Track and report on domain authority, referring domains, and backlink quality metrics per brand website
  • Establish brand-specific link profiles that align with each site’s target audience and industry vertical
  • Ensure all link-building activities comply with Google’s Webmaster Guidelines and avoid practices that risk penalties

Reporting & Analytics

  • Deliver monthly reports on backlink acquisition, domain authority trends, and organic traffic impact per brand
  • Track KPIs including referring domains, link velocity, anchor text distribution, and ranking improvements
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders with actionable next steps

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SEO link building, outreach, or digital PR
  • Tools: Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and outreach platforms (BuzzStream, Pitchbox, or similar)
  • Technical SEO: Solid understanding of site architecture, crawl optimization, indexing, and how link equity flows across a domain
  • Content Acumen: Ability to evaluate and guide content creation for link-earning potential
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for outreach emails, relationship building, and stakeholder reporting
  • Multi-Brand Experience: Experience managing SEO across multiple domains or brand properties is strongly preferred
  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to decision making with the ability to translate metrics into strategy
  • Google Guidelines: Deep knowledge of white-hat link-building practices and Google’s Webmaster Guidelines
