Role Overview:
- Write and publish SEO-optimized content (blogs, webpages, product descriptions, landing pages, FAQs, etc.)
- Collaborate with SEO, marketing and design teams to align content with overall SEO and brand strategy
- Take ownership of content pieces from research → writing → optimization → publishing → updates
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research (primary, secondary, long-tail) using tools like Ahrefs / SEMrush / Google Keyword Planner
- Write well-researched, engaging, high-quality content tailored to user intent (informational, commercial, transactional) and brand tone.
- Optimize content for SEO: proper keyword placement (title, H1/H2/H3 headings, body), meta titles & descriptions, image alt-text, internal/external links. (adapted from your original list + standard SEO-writing practices)
- Maintain correct content structure & readability: logical header hierarchy, clean formatting, user-friendly readability.
- Perform content editing and proofreading to ensure quality, clarity, grammar, consistency with brand voice and style standards.
- Analyze competitor content / competitor landing-pages, identify content gaps or opportunities, and propose improvements or new content ideas. (from your list + align with content-analysis practices)
- Update and improve existing content where needed: fix outdated information, add depth, refresh SEO optimization, correct keyword issues, improve readability. (from your list)
- Maintain a content calendar / schedule for regular publishing and updates.
- Use analytics and SEO tools (e.g. Google Analytics / Search Console, SEMrush / Ahrefs) to monitor content performance and adjust strategy accordingly. (as per your list + common mid-level expectations)
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–4 (or more) years of professional experience as Content Writer / SEO-Content Writer / Copywriter.
- Strong command of English: excellent writing, editing, grammar, and storytelling skills.
- Solid understanding of SEO principles, on-page SEO techniques, keyword research, and best practices for content optimization.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g. WordPress), and tools used for SEO and analytics.
- Good research skills — able to gather information from multiple sources, analyze data/trends, and produce insightful content.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication and collaboration: able to coordinate with SEO, marketing, design — ensure content aligns with overall strategy. (as per your list + standard content-team workflow)
