Experience: 2+ years | Focus: On-Page & Technical SEO
About the Role
We're looking for an SEO Executive with solid hands-on experience in On-Page and Technical SEO to help drive organic growth. You'll own day-to-day SEO execution, work closely with content and development teams, and translate audits into measurable ranking and traffic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
On-Page SEO
- Conduct keyword research and map keywords to relevant pages based on search intent
- Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures, and internal linking
- Optimize content for target keywords, readability, and search intent (informational, commercial, transactional)
- Implement and refine schema markup (Product, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Review, etc.)
- Optimize images (alt text, compression, file naming) and multimedia elements
- Collaborate with content writers to brief, review, and optimize new and existing content
Technical SEO
- Perform regular technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Diagnose and resolve crawl errors, indexation issues, redirect chains, and broken links
- Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability
- Work with developers to implement structured data, fix render-blocking issues, and improve site architecture
- Monitor Google Search Console for coverage, enhancement, and manual action issues
Reporting & Analysis
- Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and technical health metrics
- Build monthly performance reports with insights and next-step recommendations
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
- Strong working knowledge of On-Page and Technical SEO principles
- Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Screaming Frog, and at least one of Ahrefs/SEMrush
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO (you don't need to code, but you need to read it)
- Familiarity with schema.org markup and structured data testing tools
- Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization
- Ability to communicate technical SEO issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Good to Have
- E-commerce SEO experience (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms)
- Experience optimizing product and category pages, faceted navigation, and handling duplicate content at scale
- Experience in leather industry or fashion category is preferred
