About the Role

We're looking for an SEO Executive with solid hands-on experience in On-Page and Technical SEO to help drive organic growth. You'll own day-to-day SEO execution, work closely with content and development teams, and translate audits into measurable ranking and traffic improvements.

Key Responsibilities

On-Page SEO

  • Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headings, URL structures, and internal linking
  • Optimize content for target keywords, readability, and search intent (informational, commercial, transactional)
  • Implement and refine schema markup (Product, Article, FAQ, Breadcrumb, Review, etc.)
  • Optimize images (alt text, compression, file naming) and multimedia elements
  • Collaborate with content writers to brief, review, and optimize new and existing content

Technical SEO

  • Perform regular technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
  • Diagnose and resolve crawl errors, indexation issues, redirect chains, and broken links
  • Manage robots.txt, XML sitemaps, canonical tags
  • Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile usability
  • Work with developers to implement structured data, fix render-blocking issues, and improve site architecture
  • Monitor Google Search Console for coverage, enhancement, and manual action issues

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track keyword rankings, organic traffic, conversions, and technical health metrics
  • Build monthly performance reports with insights and next-step recommendations
  • Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house)
  • Strong working knowledge of On-Page and Technical SEO principles
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Screaming Frog, and at least one of Ahrefs/SEMrush
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO (you don't need to code, but you need to read it)
  • Familiarity with schema.org markup and structured data testing tools
  • Basic understanding of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization
  • Ability to communicate technical SEO issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Good to Have

  • E-commerce SEO experience (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar platforms)
  • Experience optimizing product and category pages, faceted navigation, and handling duplicate content at scale
  • Experience in leather industry or fashion category is preferred
