Role Overview

• We are looking for a motivated and curious SEO Intern who wants to build a strong foundation
• in Search Engine Optimization for software and IT services. This internship is designed as a
• career-building opportunity, offering hands-on learning, real project exposure, and structured
• mentorship.
• The intern will work closely with SEO, content, and growth teams to understand how SEO
• contributes to brand visibility, lead generation, and long-term business growth in a
• software company.

What You Will Learn

During this 6-month internship, you will gain practical exposure to:

● SEO fundamentals and advanced concepts

● Keyword research and search intent analysis

● On-page SEO best practices

● Technical SEO basics for websites and web applications

● SEO collaboration with designers and developers

● Business listing platforms and reputation building

● SEO impact on software, SaaS, and IT service companies

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO Fundamentals & Execution

● Assist in keyword research and competitor analysis

● Support on-page SEO activities including:

○ Meta titles and descriptions

○ Headings structure (H1–H3)

○ URL optimization

● Learn how to align keywords with user intent

2. Technical SEO Exposure

● Assist in basic technical SEO tasks under supervision:

○ Website audits

○ Indexing and crawlability checks

○ Page speed and performance analysis

● Understand how technical SEO integrates with development workflows

3. Content & SEO Collaboration

● Work with content writers to:

○ Optimize articles for SEO and readability

○ Improve content structure and internal linking

● Learn how long-form content supports organic traffic growth.

4. Business Listings & Brand Visibility

● Assist in managing and optimizing company profiles on platforms such as:

○ Clutch

○ TechBehemoths

○ DesignRush

○ Other relevant directories

● Support profile updates, service listings, and review coordination

● Understand how listings impact SEO, credibility, and lead generation

5. SEO Research & Reporting

● Assist in tracking basic SEO metrics:

○ Keyword rankings

○ Traffic trends

○ Page performance

● Support the preparation of simple SEO reports and insights

6. Learning & Growth Mindset

● Participate in internal SEO training sessions

● Stay updated with basic SEO trends and Google algorithm concepts

● Apply learnings practically under guidance

Required Skills & Qualifications

● Basic understanding of digital marketing or SEO concepts

● Strong interest in SEO and search engines

● Ability to research and learn independently

● Good written communication skills

● Basic familiarity with Google Search and online content

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

● SEO courses or certifications

● Basic knowledge of websites, HTML, or CMS platforms

● Interest in software, IT services, or technology
