SEO Lead

We are seeking an experienced SEO Lead to drive our search engine optimization strategy across multiple platforms. As the SEO Lead, you will manage and execute SEO initiatives, ensuring that our websites rank highly on search engines, drive organic traffic, and achieve our business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, analytics, and the ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple websites.
• Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to inform content and SEO strategies.
• Manage on-page optimization including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structures.
• Oversee content optimization, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices (e.g., keyword density, image alt tags, etc.).
• Lead off-page SEO efforts, including link building and outreach to increase domain authority.
• Monitor website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
• Track and report on SEO KPIs (e.g., organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion metrics).
• Work with content teams to create SEO-friendly content (blogs, product pages, landing pages, etc.).
• Implement and manage local SEO and technical SEO strategies (site speed, mobile optimization, schema markup, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to Google’s algorithm updates and industry standards.
• Provide training, mentorship, and leadership to junior SEO staff or external teams.
• Collaborate with marketing, development, and design teams to align SEO goals with broader business objectives.
• Conduct regular site audits to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain SEO health.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors.
• Proven experience in on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
• Expertise in keyword research tools (e.g., Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
• Proficiency in SEO analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with technical SEO (site architecture, XML sitemaps, redirects, canonicalization, etc.).
• Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic knowledge of JavaScript for SEO.
• Ability to perform competitive analysis and identify opportunities for ranking improvements.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience with Paid Search (PPC) or Google Ads.
• Knowledge of A/B testing for landing pages or SEO experiments.
• Familiarity with structured data and schema markup.
• Background in eCommerce SEO, especially in platforms like Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with international SEO and multi-language optimization.
• Project management experience or familiarity with tools like Trello, Asana, or Jira.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results.
• 1-2 years of experience in an SEO leadership or team lead role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs65,000.00 - Rs100,000.00 per month
