Job Description: We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven SEO Lead to enhance our online presence and drive organic traffic to our platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a passion for digital marketing, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keyword Research: Identify relevant keywords and phrases that potential customers use to search for travel experiences and integrate them into our content strategy.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta descriptions, titles, headings, and internal linking to improve search engine rankings.
  • Technical SEO: Ensure the website meets technical requirements, such as mobile-friendly design, fast loading times, and secure HTTPS connections, to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop and optimize content that aligns with SEO best practices and resonates with our target audience.
  • Link Building: Develop and implement strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks, enhancing the site's authority and ranking.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track website performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports with actionable insights.
  • Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitor websites and strategies to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the search rankings.

Technical & Web Development Responsibilities:

  • Website Performance Optimization: Ensure optimal website speed, Core Web Vitals, and responsive design for better user experience and search rankings.
  • Structured Data & Schema Markup: Implement structured data (Schema.org) to enhance search engine visibility and rich snippet appearance.
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript Knowledge: Ability to modify and optimize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to improve SEO performance, such as lazy loading, minification, and caching.
  • CMS & Website Management: Experience working with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or custom-built websites to implement SEO improvements.
  • Technical Audits: Conduct regular technical audits, identifying and fixing broken links, redirects, duplicate content, and crawl issues.
  • API & Automation: Familiarity with APIs and automation tools to streamline SEO tasks, such as automated reporting and content optimization.
  • A/B Testing & CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization): Work with developers and marketing teams to implement A/B testing strategies to improve website performance and conversions.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience working in SEO, digital marketing, or web development with a proven track record of improving website rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and basic coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Web Development Experience: Understanding of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and experience working with developers to implement SEO best practices.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes, and the ability to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
