About the Role

You will be responsible for elevating our website’s domain authority, building high-quality backlinks, forging strategic content & publication partnerships, and ensuring that our outreach efforts actively support SEO and brand-visibility goals. You will be a key player in our growth strategy, working closely with content, marketing, and analytics teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a link-building and outreach strategy: identify target domains/publications, set outreach goals, and monitor backlog and success metrics.
  • Research and build a database of relevant sites/blogs/media for guest posts, link insertions, content placements and partnerships.
  • Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, social platforms, and other channels to secure placements, collaborations, mentions, and backlinks.
  • Collaborate with the content & SEO teams to create guest post briefs or linkable assets, ensuring they align with our brand voice and SEO goals.
  • Evaluate potential link opportunities by domain authority, relevance, traffic, editorial quality, and risk (e.g., link farms, toxic sites).
  • Track, report and analyze link-building performance (number of links acquired, Domain Authority improvements, organic traffic uplift, keyword rankings improvement).
  • Ensure link placements are implemented correctly (anchor text, no-follow vs follow strategy, contextual relevance).
  • Monitor outreach KPIs: response rate, conversion rate (outreach → link secured), time to placement, cost per link (if relevant).
  • Stay up to date with SEO best practices, algorithmic changes (e.g., Google updates), and ensure outreach practices adhere to quality guidelines.
  • Identify new opportunities for authority building beyond link-building: e.g., influencers, podcasts, high-profile content collaborations, citations, PR mentions.
  • Maintain outreach templates, CRM tools, and contact lists. Maintain outreach cadence, follow-ups, and relationship management with webmasters/editors.
  • Work cross-functionally with the brand/PR team to align outreach campaigns with wider marketing initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years (or as per your expectation) experience in SEO outreach, link-building or authority-building for digital brands or agencies.
  • Proven track-record of acquiring high quality backlinks and measurable SEO authority improvements.
  • Strong research and analytical skills: ability to evaluate domains, traffic, backlink profiles, and relevance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: comfortable writing outreach emails, pitching, negotiating guest-post or link opportunities.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Majestic, Google Search Console, and analytics dashboards.
  • Good organisational skills: ability to manage multiple outreach campaigns, track cadence, coordinate with content teams, follow-up appropriately.
  • Understanding of SEO metrics, organic traffic drivers, and how backlinks feed into these.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • (Optional/Preferred) Experience working with international outreach/cross-border publications, and knowledge of no-follow/follow link strategy, disavow process, and link-risk management.
  • (Preferred) A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, though strong demonstrable experience counts.
