SEO Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage SEO strategies to increase organic visibility and qualified leads.
  • Conduct comprehensive keyword research tailored to Gulf markets (Arabic & English).
  • Optimize on-page elements including metadata, content structure, internal linking, and schema markup.
  • Perform regular technical SEO audits and collaborate with development teams to fix issues.
  • Manage backlink acquisition strategies with focus on high-quality, region-relevant sources.
  • Track, analyze, and report SEO performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs/SEMrush.
  • Monitor competitors’ SEO strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with content, design, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices across campaigns.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and SEO trends in MENA region

Must Have

  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools: Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
  • Expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for SEO troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress, HubSpot, Shopify, Drupal).
  • Familiarity with local SEO strategies and Gulf-specific search behaviors.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills (Google Data Studio, Excel).
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication skills in both Arabic & English.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments (marketing, content, dev teams). Detail-oriented with focus on measurable results.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying SEO opportunities. Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing search algorithms.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of advanced analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and A/B testing.
  • Understanding of structured data, schema, and rich snippets beyond basics. Experience with multi-language / multi-region SEO.
  • Familiarity with paid search (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to support integrated campaigns.
