As our SEO Specialist, you will be at the heart of our digital growth. Your primary goal will be to improve our organic visibility, attract high-quality traffic to our website, and increase conversions for our artworks and online exhibitions. You will play a crucial role in shaping our online presence and ensuring art lovers can easily discover the incredible pieces in our collection.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-depth keyword research for art-related queries, artists, and movements to guide our content strategy.
- Perform on-page optimization for artwork pages and collections, including writing compelling titles and meta descriptions, implementing schema markup, and optimizing internal links.
- Collaborate with our web developers on technical SEO improvements, focusing on site speed, crawlability, and indexation.
- Create detailed content briefs for new product pages, collection launches, and editorial articles to ensure they are optimized for search.
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach to art communities, online publications, and relevant blogs.
- Monitor and report on performance using Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, turning data into actionable insights.
- Manage and improve our local SEO presence for relevant artist and gallery-related search terms.
What You’ll Bring
- 2-3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a background in e-commerce or online marketplaces being a strong plus.
- Proficiency with common SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush), Google Analytics 4, and Google Search Console.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Knowledge of image SEO best practices to optimize our visual content.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, especially for crafting concise and effective meta copy.
- A collaborative spirit and comfort working with marketing, content, and development teams.
