Job Overview

As an SEO Specialist for the ecommerce industry, you will collaborate with a team of digital marketers to plan, implement, and optimize SEO strategies for various ecommerce clients. You will be responsible for improving organic visibility, increasing traffic, and supporting overall online growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis
  • Perform technical SEO audits and resolve site issues
  • Optimize on-page elements: meta tags, headings, content, images, URL structure, etc.
  • Build and maintain strong internal and external linking strategies
  • Create and update SEO performance reports and dashboards
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO and search engine algorithm trends
  • Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to support SEO initiatives

Candidate Should Have (Skills & Requirements)Core SEO Skills

  • A proven track record of improving SEO performance for ecommerce websites
  • Strong understanding of SEO tools such as:
  • Google Analytics, Google Search Console
  • Ahrefs, Moz, Semrush
  • Keyword Insights by Andy Chadwick, Byword, Keyword Planner
  • Keyword Clusterizer, Surfer, AIContentfy
  • Screaming Frog and other auditing tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with ecommerce CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress, WooCommerce, etc.)
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

Added Requirements: Google Ads & Meta Ads

  • Hands-on experience running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Shopping, Performance Max)
  • Strong understanding of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads) including audience targeting, retargeting, and ad funnel structures
  • Ability to analyze paid campaign performance and integrate insights with SEO strategies for holistic growth
  • Experience managing ad budgets, A/B testing creatives, keyword/ad copy optimization, and conversion tracking
  • Understanding of how paid search and paid social align with organic strategies to improve overall ecommerce performance
