About the Role

We are a media and entertainment company, seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven SEO Assistant to support our digital marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about search engine optimization, content strategy, and analytics. The SEO Assistant will work closely with our Head of SEO & Marketing to improve search visibility, drive organic traffic, and support overall growth initiatives on our YouTube channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content growth and optimization
• Title, keyword and optimize YouTube content online
• Assist in optimizing website content, including blogs, landing pages, and metadata (titles, descriptions, headers)
• Track keyword rankings
• Collaborate with YouTube content creators to ensure SEO best practices are implemented

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing or contributing to a blog or website
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress)
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets for data tracking

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will start at $100-$125 per month in USD but will grow quickly for the right person who demonstrates strong performance on our YouTube channels** We are looking for a self-starter, with a hard work ethic, who is willing to grow with us.

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
