Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders promptly to the kitchen.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards by adhering to proper handling procedures and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently using sales techniques like OpenTable or other reservation/ordering platforms.
• Experience with food industry tools such as Food preparation equipment, Cashiering systems, or Host/hostess duties is a plus.
