Server

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server for a fine dining restaurant with a casual atmosphere. This position gives mid-level servers the chance to grow their culinary and liquor knowledge while giving higher level servers a challenging environment with a full bar and comprehensive wine list at their disposal.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and answer any menu questions they might have.
• Follow our fine dining steps of service to ensure a sharp and accurate experience for the guest
• Make cogent recommendations and guide any guest through any dish or drink on our menu
• Lend a hand to teammates to complete steps of service for all in a timely manner
• Accurately transcribe and enter orders into our Upserve/Lightspeed POS systems
• Work with the kitchen to identify any allergens in our dishes to ease allergic guests through a welcoming and tailored experience
• Foster a relationship with regulars, and personalize your service to every guest

Experience

• Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments
• Familiarity with Upserve/Lightspeed or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently
• Excellent communication skills for effective guest relations and teamwork
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
• Understanding of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
• TABC License recommended
