Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, providing them with menus and information about daily specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide recommendations for food and wine pairings, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions efficiently.
• Assist with training new staff members in serving techniques and restaurant protocols as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
