Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of dishes and beverages to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Serve food and beverages efficiently, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas
• Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements for smooth operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; knowledge of OpenTable is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
