Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct entry
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Assist with food handling, sanitation, and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
• Support other restaurant functions including bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses during busy periods

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Basic math skills for bill calculations, tips, and inventory management
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality environments
