Duties

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they arrive
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately at the end of each shift
• Clear tables promptly by bussing and assisting with food preparation or kitchen support when needed
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience is required
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or Toast for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving, bussing tables, host/hostess roles, or guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this position
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
