Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage tables efficiently by bussing, resetting, and assisting with guest needs to ensure a smooth flow of service
- Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and uphold food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining guest relations with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including bar stations and dining spaces, adhering to sanitation regulations
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in both restaurant or nightclub settings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving or host/hostess positions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Proven ability in upselling menu items to enhance sales performance
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations
- Experience working in fine dining environments or nightclubs is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $22.30 - $26.85 per hour
