Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen.
  • Provide expert recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change.
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and assisting with sanitation protocols in accordance with food handling regulations.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or food service background is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
