Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback professionally
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld during food handling and serving
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Utilize reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently in fine dining settings
• Maintain cleanliness of service areas, including table setups, silverware, and beverage stations
• Handle cash transactions accurately with cash handling skills and basic math proficiency

Skills

• Extensive experience with food service operations in restaurants or nightlife venues such as nightclubs
• Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Strong culinary knowledge complemented by food preparation skills and understanding of food safety protocols
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising guest experience
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, food handling procedures, and kitchen operations
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience in fine dining or high-volume settings preferred
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling responsibilities
• Familiarity with nightclub or bar service environments is a plus
