Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Assist with food preparation and food handling to uphold sanitation and safety standards
• Recommend menu items, suggest wine or drink pairings, and upsell specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and openTable reservations with precision and professionalism
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly and assisting in sanitation practices in accordance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub environments

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
• Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques preferred
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in fast-paced environments like fine dining establishments or nightclubs
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
