We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing systems such as OpenTable or similar reservation platforms.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bartenders.
• Provide detailed menu descriptions, recommend specials, and upsell items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
• Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, promptly addressing any concerns or special requests to ensure complete satisfaction.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Support food handling and preparation when needed, demonstrating knowledge of kitchen operations and food industry best practices.
• Assist with guest relations by providing exceptional customer service in both fine dining settings and lively nightlife environments such as nightclubs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy hours while promoting a positive team atmosphere.

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
• Proven experience working with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Experience in serving within the food industry or hospitality sector demonstrating excellent guest service skills.
• Familiarity with reservation management platforms like OpenTable is advantageous.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently and build rapport with guests. Pay: $21.29 - $25.64 per hour
