Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details and beverage options, to answer guest questions confidently
• Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following sanitation protocols and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods to maintain smooth operations

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and foster positive guest relations
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while respecting guest preferences
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bartending, or host/hostess positions is highly desirable
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing processes
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
