The Server position creates a welcoming, elevated, and informed experience for all visitors to Sky High Lounge. This role is primarily responsible for providing table service, including order taking, food and beverage delivery, and guest interaction. On occasion or during high-traffic periods, the Server may also be assigned to manage the entrance area—greeting guests, managing table flow, and directing seating. This flexible position supports both lounge service and front-of-house coordination, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and promptly, either at the table or host station
• Escort guests to tables when assigned to the host station; manage waitlist as needed
• Present menus, answer questions about cannabis-infused items, and make recommendations
• Take and accurately input customer orders using POS system
• Serve food, non-alcoholic beverages, and THC-infused menu items in accordance with compliance guidelines
• Monitor guest cannabis consumption and report concerns to a Lead or Manager
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned service areas including tables, menus, and front entrance
• Upsell specials and support promotional campaigns during service
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Handle payments and tips responsibly and in line with company policy
• Participate in event setup or breakdown when scheduled
• Follow all applicable laws and tribal compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in a licensed cannabis establishment
• Previous experience in bar service, cannabis hospitality, or customer-facing food service roles preferred
• Strong knowledge of safe cannabis consumption practices or willingness to learn
• Ability to explain cannabis product effects, potency, and proper usage to guests
• Comfortable handling dab rigs, e-nails, torches, or other concentrate equipment (training available)
• Cash handling and POS system experience required
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills in high-volume settings
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability and a strong customer service mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, or carrying trays
• Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor lounge settings where cannabis is consumed
• Subject to loud music, variable lighting, and event-related activity
