Server

Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and attentive Server to join our restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, providing guests with a smooth and seemless experience through excellent customer service and knowledgeable menu guidance. The ideal candidate is energetic, personable, and passionate about food and hospitality. Your role will involve taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued throughout their visit.

This position runs on a set schedule weekly so you can have a life outside of work, but since we are a smaller staff we do our best to cover for one another whenever possible.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, including recommendations and upselling opportunities.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support food safety and sanitation practices by handling food properly, bussing tables, and maintaining a clean service area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between food preparation and serving.
• Assist with opening or closing duties, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and restocking supplies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
