Job description:

We are a very high volume family owned restaurant, that has been in business for over 30 years. As we approach the fall season we are looking to add to our team by hiring servers. Servers have the ability to make 200-300 dollars in tips a day during a busy shift. Employee longevity is something that we try to maintain. We strive to provide the best service to our customers: whether, it be through service or cooking to order a delicious hot meal. Where we treat customers like ROYALTY. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing as needed to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests
• Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of dining areas to ensure a welcoming environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform cashiering duties when required
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations and address any concerns professionally
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently during busy periods and multitask effectively
• Basic math skills for order entry, cash handling, and billing purposes
• Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Hospitality background including host/hostess or serving roles is a plus
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
