Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and foster positive relationships to ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain smooth operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; background in food industry roles is highly valued
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure seamless service delivery
