Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling, billing, and checkout processes accurately
• Maintain sanitation standards by properly bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and adhering to food safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, TOAST POS or OpenTable
• Experience with food handling and sanitation is essential
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and sales upselling techniques
• Past experience serving alcohol and RAMP certification
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures in the food industry
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable for guest relations excellence
