Server

Four Smokes BBQ is looking for a part-time server. In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and delivers outstanding service in a lively dining environment. Your culinary knowledge and food industry expertise will help create memorable moments for our patrons. As a key contributor to our hospitality team, you'll ensure smooth operations by managing food and beverage service with enthusiasm, professionalism, and efficiency. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, fine dining setting while making genuine connections with guests.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system ensuring prompt delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately through a personal cash bank and cash handling procedures, including open and close shifts
• Maintain food safety standards by following sanitation protocols, proper food handling, and cleanliness practices

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in food service or hospitality roles is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and basic math skills for accurate check processing
• Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining a positive attitude

We are looking for someone fully available with flexibility. You will have the opportunity to pick up shifts outside of your schedule in the event it is needed. This position will start with part-time hours (10-20) with the opportunity to work up to more with experience in our team.
