Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order entry and payment processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
• Ability to multitask effectively with strong time management skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management.
